This past module that I had the privilageĀ of takingĀ an amazing class called ‘Intro to Revival and It’s Leaders,’ taught by Eddie B. This class completely revolutionized my mindset of what revival is to look like. Revival yesis a time of refreshing and renewing for the church but it is also a time of great labor. We need to know as a house (IHOP) that our hearts truly need to be prepared, we can not be in a complete receive mode because we have been set in this house to be leaders and leaders need to lead. There will be thousands if not millions of people coming from all around the globe, whether its coming to observe or to receive, they will look for direction not only in the natural but in the spiritual realm.
Also, we need to remember not everyone will approve of what the Lord is doing here. All throughout Revival History there has been people who rejoice when revival comes and also there are those who completely despise what the Lord is doing. Those who despise don’t keep silent about it either they are very vocal and bring much adversity. Either our hearts can become offended and receive the rebukes or we can be secure in what the Lord is doing. It is so crucial to get rooted in your faith now in the mundane everyday life. We can’t only feed on what the outward workings of signs and wonders are revealing. We need to be completly secure in our relationship with the Lord and actually and truely be partners in this revival. If you look at Judas of Iscariot, he saw all of th signs and wonders that the Lord did, He was there when the lame walked, he saw the blind see, food multiply, dead raised, but yet he still betrayed Christ. Why would he do that? It makes you think that there is way more to faith in God then signs and wonders.

Good word, Jamie. I have felt such a sobriety about getting rid of the fear of man and desire to please people before the revival hits and people begin getting… uh… boisterously opinionated about it.
P.S. I’m happy to see that you’re blogging… looking forward to reading your thooughts.
